The Friends of the Watchung Library is a community-supported organization dedicated to strengthening and enhancing the Watchung Library. We support the library through fundraising, advocacy, volunteer service, community outreach, and programs that enrich the library experience for children, families, and adults.

The Friends provides financial and community support for library programs, activities, resources, and special projects that benefit the Watchung community.

The Friends of the Watchung Library works in partnership with the Watchung Library and the Somerset County Library System of New Jersey to promote and support the library. Through fundraising, donations, volunteer activities, and community engagement, the Friends helps provide additional resources and opportunities for library patrons.
